Don’t like the weather? Leave!
But just for a little while…
Travelling in January can be really trippy! Get it? Oh I kill me!
Ok corny joke aside, taking a trip in January is the best time to travel! Who wants to stick around in cold weather? On the other hand if you live somewhere warm (lucky *&^%$!) you may want to see how the other half lives and experience snow fun. What’s that you say? It’s no fun?
I beg to differ! In fact when you are online looking for singles to chat with or meet, I’ll bet you find lots of people who love to ski, snowboard, sled, ice skate or WAHOO…. how about a fun ride on a snowmobile? They can be rented at a lot of national parks and if you dress warm, and cuddle up to your co-rider, it is Hella-fun!
Trips and travel can be right in your own local area or as far away as you can stand to fly in a plane!
You get amazing deals on trips this time of year, with many online travel saving sites or you can use a room sharing or trading site as well. I use a vegan travel group and there’s stuff like airbnb too. You don’t have to pay a fortune to have an amazing experience. Sharing the trip with a new love or a friend or an old one can really reduce the costs as well and give you a chance to really get to know each other, step up the intimacy or bring some fun to a relationship that has kind of mellowed a bit.
January is after all named after Janus, the God of gates, doorways, beginnings and transitions. How about the gateway to an adventure? Talk to friends, family and go on a chat line and ask people where they have traveled to, What is the best place they’ve ever been? How much things cost there, what’s fun to do there etc. You can even find out about great stuff to do right in your neck of the woods,
Don’t hole up just because it’s January. Take the month by the thorns and turn it into a rose! Make a trip plan this month, big or small, you deserve something great to start off the year, Get your ass in gear!
Be safe and have fun! And most importantly; stay warm! I find another person is very helpful in that last one!
