The Best Kind of Music to Play in the Bedroom

Sex is an important part of all loving relationships, so when you’re going to spend some time in the bedroom together it always helps to set the mood first. Want to get on the same wavelength with your partner? Start your spicy evening off right with our list of the  best kind of music to play in the bedroom.

D’Angelo – Untitled (How Does it Feel): THE classic slow jam. This tune from early 2000 will crank up the heat no matter where you are! And if you’re feeling really frisky, check out the music video for some sexy inspiration.

Mazzy Star – Fade into You: Two words for this track: soft and tranquil. Mazzy Star’s only hit song will force you to light some candles, dim the lights and treat your lover right.

Beyonce – Partition: One of the sexiest songs Yonce has ever released, this track is totally perfect for the lady looking to take the lead tonight.

Lana Del Rey – Ride: Not as obvious as “Young and Beautiful”, but just as hypnotic. Trust us.

Frank Ocean – Thinkin’ Bout You: Just let Frank’s voice and that infectious chorus help you set a super romantic mood in the bedroom. Your partner won’t know what hit ‘em.

The xx – Intro: Like the title says, use this as your introduction for the evening. Mood setting should be its middle name.

Drake feat. The Dream: Shut it Down: Halfway through this track starts to swell, and it’s all you could ever hope for in a modern day slow jam. Whatever your feels are on Drake, do yourself a favour and check this track out.

Marvin Gaye – Sexual Healing: No list of bedroom music could ever be complete without the sweet sounds of Marvin Gaye. You could opt for one of the hundreds of covers of this song, but the original is our absolute favourite.

What NOT to Play:

Stay away from anything super cheesy, super raunchy, or super loud. Heavy rock, “The Thong Song” and Rhianna’s “S&M” all have their place, but it definitely isn’t here. Unless of course you’re a massive Sisqo fan.

Advice for Women Who Are Dating More Than One Guy

dating more 2Dating is like going to a candy store.  Each time you try a different piece to see which one you like the best.  Some look enticing on the outside until you unwrap and taste it only to discover it wasn’t what you thought.  Others may not look so great displayed on the shelf, but once you try it you realize that it is your favorite and you keep going back for more!

“Playing the field” in dating Candyland is actually a healthy way to discover not only who is right for you, but also a great way to get to know yourself in the process.  When I coach clients I always explain my theory of dating as having several phases.  The first phase is the courting phase where it should be light and fun while getting to know various people.

Spotting the SEX ONLY Signs

sex only 2When trying to sort out where a man falls on the scale of “Just Sex vs. Settling Down,” how can you know if he’s into you as a complete package or into your body and what it can do for his package? To give you a leg up on the situation, here are a few clues that will allow you to discern when a guy is seeing you as “convenient” instead of “commitment.”

  • He spends more money on you when he’s looking to get laid.
Most single guys know that they have to give something to get some. But when a guy thinks it’s all about the stuff he gets a woman or the places he takes her, he is likely not looking for a relationship. More probable? He’s hoping to buy his way into more sex.
