5 Small Things That Women Love Big Time
When you’re in a relationship, it can be all too easy to find yourself forgetting to do the small day-to-day things that you used to do for your girlfriend or wife. To be fair, it goes both ways. When you’re so in love and so comfortable, you almost subconsciously stop paying attention to the little things that actually mean a lot. If you’re looking to score some brownie points or need to get yourself out of the dog house, this post is for you. Today we give you a list of five small things that women love BIG time.
1. When You Take Time to Clean… Without Being Asked
When you wake up just a tad early so you can tidy up the house before you go to work, your partner will 100% notice. Nothing is more stressful than arriving home at the end of a long day to see that your house is messier than you remember leaving it and feeling the urge to clean everything immediately. Putting in a little extra effort and cleaning before you leave for the day will score you major brownie points with your lady. Trust us! She probably won’t even know what to do with the extra hour she normally spends picking up clothes, wiping down the counter tops and putting away the laundry. Free time… imagine that!
2. When You Make Dinner Reservations and Surprise Her
If you have a regular date night each week on which you go out and grab some food or hit up the movies, take it up a notch the next time. Call ahead to a restaurant she likes and make reservations. You already planned on going out for dinner anyways, but this way you won’t have to wait at the bar for a table to come available. She’ll appreciate that you’re valuing her time and thought ahead.
3. When You Remember Appointments & Important Dates On Your Own
Okay, so for this one it’s completely OK to cheat just a little. Pop important dates and appointments into your phone or your personal calendar. Do whatever works for you, just as long as you don’t constantly ask her “When’s my doctor’s appointment?” or “When do we go to your parents’ place?” when she’s already answered you multiple times. Better yet, flip it back around and show her that you do, in fact, remember. Drop it into a conversation really casually by saying, “I need to do some laundry before we go to visit your parents next Saturday”. She’ll love that she’s no longer your human day book.
4. When You Make the Bed
This one is SO easy. If you put in the effort to help her make the bed or go right ahead and make it yourself, she’ll notice and truly appreciate the effort. If she’s hopping into the shower to get ready for an important meeting at work, make the bed while she’s in there so when she comes out there’s one less thing for her to do before she heads out for her big day.
5. When You Say “I Love You”
We know, we know. You might already feel like you say those three little words so many times that she hardly even hears them anymore. But, dear friend, she absolutely does. Hearing “I Love You” at times in the day she might not expect (like a quick call on lunch, while watching TV eating popcorn, etc.) makes her feel super special and truly loved.
How often do you do these things? We’d love to hear your stories in the comments below!
